Standing on an empty path...
with heavens light shining bright
and then the darkness slithers over
embracing the paths and me along with it
the ground beneath me shakes
and the path in front of me splits in 2
and i am left standing
trying to decide
but nothing seems to come to mind
the shadows seem to twist and unwind
i run blindly onto a path
not knowing what's ahead
but not before long i fall to the ground
my heart pounds against the frozen floor
i shut my eyes and i start to shake
i am left alone on this empty path
left to struggle on my own
But then you come and lift me up again
and once again heavens light shines bright
and i realize right there and then
that your always by my side
to pick me uo when i fall
and to ever path i take the future looks bright
and you're always behind me
even on my darkest hour
